What AVAP is?
The Valencian Assessment and Futures Agency (AVAP) was created by Valencian Regional Government Law 5/2006, of 25th May. It is a public body subject to private law, as described in article 5.2 of the Consolidated Valencian Regional Government Treasury Law.
AVAP has its own legal personality and assets and also has full capacity to act to achieve its objectives. It is attached to the Valencian Regional Ministry responsible for higher education and for fostering and coordinating research.
AVAP’s goals are to guarantee the quality and excellence of higher education, science and innovation in the Valencian Region, through assessment, accreditation and foresight studies.
AVAP prides itself on its independence, objectivity, excellence and transparency and follows this ethic to achieve international recognition and foster the development of the Valencian Region.
