ASSESSMENT OF CONTRACTED TEACHING STAFF’S RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

AVAP has signed two agreements, with the University of Alicante and the Miguel Hernández University in Elx respectively, to assess the research carried out by contracted teaching staff who have doctorates.

These universities believe that all their teaching and research staff should have the opportunity to have their work evaluated. Thus, in order to apply the agreements signed with AVAP, the universities put out a call for staff members who wish to have their research work assessed and AVAP arranges for its expert committees to carry out the assessment.

This is done using assessment procedures and criteria similar to those employed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation’s National Committee for Assessing Research Activity to assess university teaching staff.
